Cats and Toxic House Plants

The following question was sent to the P&PDL diagnosticians here at Purdue University:

Question: I would like to know what house plants are toxic to kittens & cats. Do you have a list of common name plants you could mail me?

Answer: Refer to the Indiana Toxic Plants online database from the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at Purdue.

Specifically, it lists catnip, English Ivy, Poinsettia, Easter Lily, and Dumbcane.
