Ornamental cabbage is an excellent fall-into-winter transition plant in a color change-out program. For best effect, the plants (such as these shown here) must be greenhouse produced and near full size when planted out. Because of the season, these plants will not suffer the same pest problems they would if grown during an earlier part of the growing season.
